Overall Purpose & Goals

Scope of Work

HFO has reached out to more than 70,000 direct and indirect beneficiaries through our efforts since its early establishment in 2014 to 2019; we hope to reach out to more than 100,000 direct beneficiaries across all areas of our development and humanitarian interventions in the next three years. HFO mandate is to support humanitarian and development assistant in South Sudan and other East African Region through provision of holistic social services to vulnerable communities.

Guiding Principles

HFO makes no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinion. It endeavours to relief the suffering of individual being guided solely by their needs.

To continue to enjoy the confidence of all, HFO is impartial and does not at any time engage in hostilities, controversies of a political, racial, religious or ideological nature.

HFO is a voluntary organization not prompted in any manner by desire for gain. Members understand the risks and dangers of the missions they carry out.

HFO operates independently of any political, military, or religious agendas. Its team conducts evaluations on the ground to determine a population's needs before opening programmes.

Our Locations

Healthcare Foundation Organization (HFO) has been active in South Sudan since 2018. HFO operates in 7 out of the 10 states with a static operational presence in these towns:

  • Jonglei State (Fangak County and Canal County and Twic East)
  • Warrap State (Twic & Gogrial West Counties)
  • Northern Bahr Al Ghazel State (Awiel East County)
  • Unity State (Mayendit)
  • Central Equaotria (Juba)
