WASH Program Overview
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programming is critical to HFO's mandate, providing life-saving assistance, promoting public health and supporting dignity and well-being of the affected people and communities through Emergency, Development, Urban and Public Health WASH.
Our Reach
HFO delivers WASH services at the Internally Displaced Peoples (IDPs) Camps, Returnees and Refugees camps, urban and rural settings responses, schools, health care facilities and within host communities.
Cross-Sector Impact
Safe WASH is not only a prerequisite to health, but contributes to livelihoods, school attendance and dignity and helps to create resilient communities living in healthy environments.
Access to safe water and sanitation is a human right
Right now, Healthcare Foundation Organization (HFO) is at the forefront in Upper Nile, Bahr El Ghazal Equatoria regions responding to WASH needs resulting to thousands of people in the targeted states having access to safe water, improved sanitation and hygiene promotion.

Hardware Components
HFO constructs WASH infrastructures to create lasting solutions:
