We learn what works to make people’s lives healthier and improve the health care system.
Our focus are on both distribution and activities
targeting communities’ resilience capacity. Food security and
livelihoods
projects will be implemented both in the conflict
affected states as well as in the more stable states in the country
including cash-based programming. Healthcare Foundation Organization (HFO) will also have food security
projects with more long-term focus in Greater Upper Nile during our
first strategic plans including support in livelihood diversification
option, market linkages, capacity building and development of social
infrastructure. HFO will develop strategic partnership with FAO & WFP
where HFO through three rapid response teams is distributing food to
people in extreme need while
piloting some mixed basket programs in
more stable areas.
Result: Improved communities’ livelihoods and reduce poverty level amongst the vulnerable populations through provisions of basic agricultural tools.
