2019

Morbidity and Mortality was reduced greatly as the communities of Diel and Atar had no access to health services
but Healthcare Foundation Organization (HFO) established mobile clinics under this fund and reached 11,896 (96% of the target) with emergency and lifesaving health services.

Community outreach achieved 124% which improved security by taking of to the people affected by lack of essential health services.

We also trained healthcare providers, County Health department and community on IDSR/EWARS, IPC/WASH, CMR/MPHSS and risk communication (80 participants).

SSHF second allocation

Another 6-month project funded by SSHF under the Health Cluster that started on the 1st of September 2019 to the 28th of Feb 2020. This is a continuation of the first allocation with two mobile clinics (Atar and Diel) and
then an additional Static PHCU in Twic (Ayien Amuol).

Goal: To increase access to lifesaving emergency healthcare services to vulnerable populations of 10,593 with 7,704 Canal/Pigi County, Jonglei State and 2,889 beneficiaries targeted in Twic, Warrap State; focusing on the major causes of morbidity and mortality.
